Pompeo declares Iran nuclear accord no longer in force

What did Washington announce on 19 September 2020 about the 2015 nuclear accord with Iran? The United States Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, declared the agreement no longer in force.
He also warned that the United States was prepared to use its domestic authorities to impose consequences on other countries that did not enforce the sanctions.
The move met opposition. Britain, France, Germany, China and Russia all opposed the snapback sanctions.
