What did Ukraine do on 30 September 2025 on Europe?

A retrospective on a day that combined drone-defence cooperation with Denmark and a step in Ukraine's EU accession process.

What was Ukraine's role in European security and integration on 30 September 2025? Two developments marked the day.

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy deployed a military mission to Denmark, as reported at the time. Its purpose was to share Ukraine's expertise in countering Russian drones. The deployment came as European countries planned a joint "drone wall" project to strengthen airspace defence.

On the same date, Ukraine completed the screening process for alignment of its legislation with the acquis communautaire, the body of EU law relevant to accession.

Together, the two items showed Ukraine engaged with Europe on two tracks on 30 September 2025: sharing practical wartime experience on drone defence, and advancing the legal groundwork for EU membership.
