What Washington's 11th aid package for Ukraine contained
A retrospective on the US announcement of 31 May 2022 that included HIMARS rocket systems, and on a separate change of government in Transnistria the day before.

What did the United States decide to send Ukraine on 31 May 2022? The US President, Biden, announced an 11th package of military assistance, which included more advanced rocket systems and munitions. Among them were High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), which he said would help Ukraine strike key targets more precisely.
NATO responded the same day by saying it did not expect Russia to take any corresponding action in response to the decision.
Elsewhere in the region, a change of government had taken place a day earlier. On 30 May 2022, Aleksandr Rozenberg was sworn in as the new Prime Minister of Transnistria.
