A ruling in football
Away from the pandemic, there was news for Ukrainian sport. On 25 November 2020, the UEFA appeals committee awarded a technical defeat to the Ukraine national team in its UEFA Nations League 2020–21 match against Switzerland, which had been scheduled for 17 November. As a result, Ukraine was to play in League B in the following season.
