On 17 January 2022, new cyberattacks were recorded in Ukraine against several institutions. Among those named were the Shevchenkivskyi District Court in Kyiv and Prozorro, the public procurement system.

The same day, former president Petro Poroshenko returned to Ukraine. He went to a hearing at the Pechersk court in Kyiv.
