A look back at a day of bombardment in the south and blackouts after the previous day's missile strikes.

What did the war look like in Ukraine's regions on 24 November 2022? In Kherson, Russian Armed Forces bombarded the city, killing at least 15 people and injuring 35 others.

The shelling followed a wave of missile strikes on 23 November 2022. At least six people, all civilians, were killed in that wave, as reported at the time. Three of the dead were in an apartment block in Vyshhorod, Kyiv Oblast, where 15 other people were injured.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said that 21 of the 31 missiles targeting Kyiv had been intercepted before reaching their targets.

The strikes also hit the power supply further west. Widespread blackouts were reported in Western Ukraine as Russian forces launched another wave of cruise missile strikes, and Lviv was experiencing a power outage. Moldova reported "massive" power outages as well, although the country had not been directly hit by missiles.
