Missile strikes killed a teenager in Kharkiv Oblast

A retrospective on Russian attacks on Berestyn and Balakliia, which left four people dead and 19 injured across two days in November 2025.

What did two days of missile strikes mean for Kharkiv Oblast? On 18 November 2025, overnight Russian missile strikes on Berestyn killed a 17-year-old girl and injured nine other people.

The attack followed another strike a day earlier. On 17 November 2025, a Russian missile hit a residential area in Balakliia, also in Kharkiv Oblast. It killed three people and injured 10 others.

Taken together, the two attacks on 17 and 18 November 2025 left four people dead and 19 injured in the oblast. Both were reported as part of the continuing Russo-Ukrainian war.
