Two reports from the days before 30 March 2022
A look back at a Russian missile strike on an oil depot in western Ukraine and a Polish court ruling on border pushbacks.

What did the reports reaching newsrooms by 30 March 2022 show about the region's borders and infrastructure? Two items stood out from the preceding days.
On 28 March 2022, a Russian missile attack hit an oil depot in Rivne region, according to the head of the Rivne regional military administration. It was the second attack on an oil facility in the region, and the latest in a series of similar strikes over the preceding days.
On 29 March 2022, a regional court in the Polish border town of Hajnówka ruled that pushbacks against migrants on the Belarus–Poland border had violated Polish law. The ruling related to the border crisis between Belarus and the European Union, which had run through 2021 and 2022.
The two reports concerned different matters: one a military strike on energy infrastructure inside Ukraine, the other a judicial finding about migrant treatment at a neighbouring state's frontier.
