In Dnipro, in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a large-scale drone attack killed two people and injured 16 others, as reported at the time.

The same day, Russian artillery and glide bombs targeted Kherson. One person was killed and nine others were injured. A sports facility, a supermarket and residential buildings were among the places hit.

Taken together, the two attacks on 16 April killed three people and injured 25, according to those reports. They struck a major city in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and a frontline city in the south, and in Kherson they hit civilian sites used for everyday life, including shopping and sport.
